Company name approval
The application for a company name is submitted to the Algerian National Business Registration Centre (RNRC) to ensure that the name is unique and compliant, which usually takes 1-3 working days to be approved.

Prepare and submit registration documents
Including the articles of association, shareholder identification, address proof, etc., foreign-funded enterprises need to provide additional notarized investment statement and foreign exchange source proof.

Completion of business registration
The company is established in the commercial court, the business license is obtained, and the tax number (NIF) is registered with the tax bureau and the social security account is opened.

Bank opening and capital injection
Open a company account in a local Algerian bank, deposit the legal minimum registered capital (such as SARL company about 1 million dinars), and foreign capital needs to be approved by the central bank for foreign exchange transfer.
Information required to register an Algerian company
- Articles of association: to be certified by the local notary office, clear company name, business scope, registered capital and shareholders' rights and responsibilities, foreign enterprises need to add French or Arabic translation.
- Shareholder identification: natural person to provide a copy of passport /ID (foreign capital requires notarization certification), legal shareholders need to submit the registration certificate and authorized representative documents, all need to be translated into the official language.
- Proof of company address: Provide the lease contract or property ownership certificate, including the detailed address and owner information; If a foreign-capital enterprise does not rent a site for the time being, it may entrust an agency to provide a virtual registered address.
- Foreign investment declaration documents: including proof of foreign exchange source (such as bank credit certificate) and investment statement, which need to be reviewed by the Central Bank of Algeria to ensure the legal entry of funds and comply with foreign investment access policy.

Monthly VAT declaration
Businesses are required to submit monthly value-added tax (VAT) returns, for companies whose turnover exceeds the specified threshold, by the 10th of the following month.
Annual corporate income tax declaration
The enterprise income tax declaration for the previous year shall be submitted before April 30 each year, and the standard tax rate of 19% shall be applied to foreign-funded enterprises, and an audit report shall be attached.
Employee payroll withholding tax declaration
The employer must withhold the employee's personal income tax and declare it on a monthly basis, the deadline is the 15th of the following month, and pay the social security contribution at the same time.
Customs and import VAT declaration
Import goods are required to declare customs duties and import VAT at the time of customs clearance. The tax rate depends on the type of goods and needs to be submitted through the customs system.
